An influencial mentour, she had the honour of working with Carmen Marc Valvo, a top couture designer in the USA. Presenting his collection at the New York Fashion Week every season Carmen has dressed celebrities like Beyonce Knowles, Vanessa Williams, Ashley Judd, Oprah Winfrey, Catherine Zeta Jones etc. Working in partnership with Carmen, Amita has learnt the art of design, fit, fabric, colour and workmanship.

Working closely with high fashion designers in the USA, Amita travels frequently to keep abreast with international developments and the latest trends.
